Smokie is for people who want more than a disposable video call. Meet another adult who enjoys cannabis culture, see where the conversation goes, and have a way to talk again.

We built Smokie as a dedicated Android app for one-to-one video chat. It has live matching, profiles, friend requests, and messaging in the same place. Here is what that means in practice—and where another kind of service might suit you better.

Look for a real person first

Tap Light Up and Smokie searches for another person to video chat with. Real people use the app, and matches have happened across countries. You can talk, move to the next conversation, or leave a call whenever you want.

We won't promise an instant match every time. Who is online, and any filters you choose, affect the wait. If no human match is available, Smokie may offer a conversation with an AI character. That is a separate experience, not a claim that you have been matched with a person.

Meet beyond your usual circle

Smokie brings together people from different countries, including Jamaica and France. A conversation might turn into a music recommendation, a joke that makes no sense outside someone's hometown, or a look at how cannabis culture differs where they live. You can start with anyone, anywhere; optional country preferences let you narrow the search when you want to.

A country filter is not a promise that someone there is online right now. It uses gems, and the app shows the cost before you apply it. Smokie is for conversation, not buying or selling cannabis.

Keep a good conversation going

A random call doesn't have to disappear when it ends. Send a friend request during a call, message your friends afterward, or browse profiles in Swipe and connect when you both like each other. That's useful when you've met someone funny, learned something new, or simply want to talk again.

A real app, built and maintained by engineers

Smokie isn't a quick AI-generated chat page dressed up as a product. A professional engineering team builds its matching, video calls, profiles, messaging, and safety tools. Each version is checked before release, with user feedback and bug reports shaping what gets improved next. That work is ongoing; like any app, Smokie can still have problems, and support is there when it does.

Is Smokie the right choice for you?

Choose Smokie if you want an Android app to meet other stoners one to one and stay in touch with people you like. If you want to jump into a group room in your browser without installing an app, a browser-based service may fit better. Our comparison of stoner video chat options explains those differences.

Smokie is for adults 18+. Start with a real-person search, stay for the conversations that are worth continuing, and see how the app works before your first hello.
